Honoring our SACRED Humanity: An airplane theology

60 minute keynote, can be lengthened for more reflection and discussion time

Please put on your own mask before you try to assist someone else. Does this statement hold value off of an airplane? Those who purchase seats on the emergency exit row must be “willing and able” to fulfill the duties necessary and follow the directions of the flight attendants. Agreement is indicated by a verbalized, “YES.” This course is a call to commune with the SACRED by prioritizing our own needs.

When is the last time that you’ve asked a question that did not have an answer? Who do you go to for answers? What happens when we allow ourselves to ask hard questions? Where do questions lead us? Let’s learn to cultivate a curious Christianity by building community

Our Story, God’s glory

2 to 2.5 hour workshop

Like Esther, Rahab, Hagar, all the Biblical Marys and Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, we all have a story or testimony that can be told in multiple ways. What happens when the focus of the story shifts to glorify God? How can we tell a story that honors our experiences and exalts God? Using Biblical accounts, we will explore ways to respond to these questions and more! Bring good stories, annoying curiosities and questionable doubts.

Biblical Justice and the prophets

60 to 90 minute keynote, can be lengthened for more reflection and discussion time

The prophets have a lot to say about justice, but what is the message? What is Biblical justice? In this workshop we will explore justice through the lens of Biblical prophets and how we can engage with their words in these current times. This workshop is for communities that are already on a journey of racial identity development and

She enjoys facilitating spiritual development opportunities for people of all ages. She has presented at national and international conferences and most humbled to facilitate a community Bible study.
